5 New Year's Eve Traditions Every Newlywed Should Try!

There are so many traditions and different ways to celebrate the holidays! Here are a few ideas on how you can ring in the new year with your boo as newlyweds!!

1. Game night

You guys, I don't know about you but game nights are where some of the best memories are made!! Whether you are with friends or without you can still have an amazing time! You can pop the champagne and drink some of that bubbly and have a really good time!

2. Kiss at midnight

Oh come on, this is like the most important thing you need to do on new year's eve! This starts your new years off closest to the person you love most and some say that it means 12 more months of unconditional love!

3. Make a time capsule

This tradition is one of the cutest ones everrrrrrr! On New Year's Eve, make a time capsule with your partner that commemorates all the special times you've shared throughout the year. Next year, you can open up your time capsule and compare all the great memories you made!

4. Eat grapes

So, I know that not everyone does this but it is still a fun tradition! I grew up stuffing my face with 12 grapes at the stroke of midnight every new years! I don't know if it truly has made a difference but why not eat some grapes and have a good time with family?

5. Make a vision board

Going into the new year is one of the best times to map out your shared goals as well as your personal goals for the new year and visualize it! At SAEP, we are very big on vision boards!

Make sure to enjoy your new years and each other's company! At the end of the day, that is all that truly matters no matter who you do it with!
